Type species: ¤ Pustulibacterium marinum Wang et al. 2013.
Etymology: L. n. pustula, a blister, pimple, pustule; L. neut. n. bacterium, a rod; N.L. neut. n. Pustulibacterium, a bacterium like pustule, referring to morphology of colonies on SMA.
