Type species: ¤ Sungkyunkwania multivorans Yoon et al. 2013.
Etymology: N.L. fem. n. Sungkyunkwania, named after Sungkyunkwan University, where taxonomic studies of this taxon were performed.
Valid publication: YOON (J.H.), GYEONG (H.R.) and KIM (S.I.): Sungkyunkwania multivorans gen. nov., sp. nov., a member of the family Flavobacteriaceae isolated from seawater from a seaweed farm. Int. J. Syst. Evol. Microbiol., 2013, 63, 1995-2001.
