Etymology: Gr. n. theion (Latin transliteration thium), sulfur; L. fem. n. faba, bean; N.L. fem. n. Thiofaba, sulfur bean.

Etymology: L. adj. tepidus, moderately warm; N.L. adj. philus -a -um (from Gr. adj. philos -ê -on), friend, loving; N.L. fem. adj. tepidiphila, loving lukewarm conditions.
