Etymology: pseu.do.rog.gen.kamp’i.i. Gr. neut. adj. pseudes, false; N.L. gen. masc. n. roggenkampii, of Roggenkamp, and a specific epithet in the genus Enterobacter; N.L. gen. masc. n. pseudoroggenkampii, false roggenkampii, referring to the fact that the species is closely related to E. roggenkampii
