🧍 According to the "IRPCM Phytoplasma/Spiroplasma Working Team - Phytoplasma taxonomy group", the taxon "Candidatus Phytoplasma australasia" White et al. 1998 should not be retained, as its 16S rRNA gene sequence is 99.5% similar to that of "Candidatus Phytoplasma aurantifolia" Zreik et al. 1995.
