Note: Stackebrandt and Kroppenstedt 1988 propose to transfer ¤ Ampullariella regularis (Couch 1963) Couch 1964 (Approved Lists 1980), the type species of the genus Ampullariella, to the genus ¤ Actinoplanes as ¤ Actinoplanes regularis (Couch 1963) Stackebrandt and Kroppenstedt 1988, comb. nov. According to Rule 37a, bacteriologists adhering to this proposal must change the name Ampullariella to ¤ Actinoplanes.
