→ ¤ Azospira Reinhold-Hurek and Hurek 2000.
Note: According to Tan and Reinhold-Hurek 2003, ¤ Dechlorosoma suillum Achenbach et al. 2001 (the type species of the genus Dechlorosoma) is a later heterotypic synonym of ¤ Azospira oryzae Reinhold-Hurek and Hurek 2000 emend. Tan and Reinhold-Hurek 2003. According to Rule 37a, bacteriologists adhering to this proposal must change the name Dechlorosoma to ¤ Azospira.
