¤ Aquamicrobium Bambauer et al. 1998.

Note: Kämpfer et al. 2009 propose to transfer Defluvibacter lusatiensis corrig. Fritsche et al. 1999 (the type species of the genus Defluvibacter) to the genus ¤ Aquamicrobium Bambauer et al. 1998 as ¤ Aquamicrobium lusatiense (Fritsche et al. 1999) Kämpfer et al. 2009, comb. nov. According to Rule 37a, bacteriologists adhering to this proposal must change the name Defluvibacter to ¤ Aquamicrobium.
