Type genus: ¤ Nautilia Miroshnichenko et al. 2002.
Etymology: N.L. fem. n. Nautilia, the type genus of the family; suff. -aceae, ending denoting a family; Nautiliaceae, the family of Nautilia.
Valid publication: MIROSHNICHENKO (M.L.), L'HARIDON (S.), SCHUMANN (P.), SPRING (S.), BONCH-OSMOLOVSKAYA (E.A.), JEANTHON (C.) and STACKEBRANDT (E.): Caminibacter profundus sp. nov., a novel thermophile of Nautiliales ord. nov. within the class 'Epsilonproteobacteria', isolated from a deep-sea hydrothermal vent.
