Note: According to Rossau et al., the genus ¤ Simonsiella Schmid 1922 (Approved Lists 1980), the type genus of the familly ¤ Simonsiellaceae, should be included in the family Neisseriaceae Prévot 1933 (Approved Lists 1980) emend. Rossau et al. 1989. So, the family name Neisseriaceae Prévot 1933 (Approved List 1980) should be treated as an earlier heterotypic synonym of ¤ Simonsiellaceae Steed 1962 (Approved List 1980).
