Sandarakinotalea Khan et al. 2006, gen. nov.
Type species: ¤ Sandarakinotalea sediminis Khan et al. 2006.
Etymology: Gr. adj. sandarakinos -e -on, of orange colour; L. fem. n. talea, a slender staff, a rod; N.L. fem. n. Sandarakinotalea, an orange-coloured rod.

Note: Yi and Chun 2012 propose to transfer Sandarakinotalea sediminis Khan et al. 2006, the type species of the genus Sandarakinotalea, to the genus ¤ Nonlabens as ¤ Nonlabens sediminis (Khan et al. 2006) Yi and Chun 2012, comb. nov. According to Rule 37a, bacteriologists adhering to this proposal must change the name Sandarakinotalea to ¤ Nonlabens.
