Turneriella Levett et al. 2005, gen. nov.
Type species: ¤ Turneriella parva (Hovind-Hougen et al. 1982) Levett et al. 2005.
Etymology: N.L. fem. dim. n. Turneriella, to honour Leslie Turner, an English microbiologist who made definitive contributions to the knowledge of leptospirosis.
