Franklin et al.  described a disease syndrome characterized by proliferative typhlocolitis in C.B-17 scid/scid mice naturally and experimentally infected with a novel species of Helicobacter that was provisionally named "Helicobacter typhlonicus". ... In this report, we propose to use the more appropriate neo-Latin adjective "typhlonius" and formally name this novel helicobacter Helicobacter typhlonius".Publication:
