Notes:
1 In the paper by Evtushenko et al. 2000, the type strain JCM 9733 is erroneously cited as JCM 1376 (the strain JCM 1376 is a strain of ¤ Agromyces mediolanus (ex Mamoli 1939) Suzuki et al. 1996).
2 Leifsonia xyli subsp. cynodontis (Davis et al. 1984) Evtushenko et al. 2000 is an earlier homotypic synonym of ¤ Leifsonia cynodontis (Davis et al. 1984) Suzuki et al. 2000.

Note: According to Suzuki et al. 1999 [1], the type strain (L1A = ATCC 33974= ICMP 7127 = LMG 7352 = NCPPB 3152 = PDDCC 7127) of Leifsonia xyli subsp. xyli (Davis et al. 1984) Evtushenko et al. 2000 is no more available from the authors of the species, the NCPPB, the ICMP (= the PDDCC), the ATCC, and the LMG. However, the strain ICMP 7127 seems available from the ICMP [2].
