However, Alcaligenes denitrificans subsp. denitrificans (Rüger and Tan 1983) Kersters and De Ley 1984 is not cited in Validation List no. 15 and this name seems inadvertently to have been omitted from this list. This error has been corrected by Euzéby and Kudo. The date of valid publication of this subspecies is that of List no. 15 (16 July 1984).
