🧍 According to Silva (1980), Borzinema De Toni f. 1936 is a replacement for Diplonema Borzì 1916, which is a later homonym and the type of the family name Diplonemataceae (Borzì) Elenkin 1935, which is not in agreement with the rules of the ICN. "As circumscribed in the Index Nominum Genericorum, this family includes Pseudospelaeopogon, the only member of Pseudodiplonemataceae Elenkin 1949, which bears a descriptive and hence invalid name.".Publication:
