Etymology: yo.ko.su.ka.nen’sis. N.L. masc. adj. yokosukanensis, of or belonging to Yokosuka City, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan, the source of the soil from which the organism was isolated (sic) [probably better: yokosukensis]
