Etymology: pa.ra.gly.ci’nae. N.L. gen. fem. n. paraglycinae, next to (Pseudomonas) glycinae; Gr. prep. para, beside, alongside, near, like; N.L. gen. fem. n. glycinae, of Glycine max, soybean and the specific epithet of a Pseudomonas species [probably better: glycines]
